Item 8.01 Other Events.
SINTX Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) has been informed that its insurance carrier has determined that a covered loss has occurred, and coverage is available for the Company’s claim submitted with respect to the sintering furnace that overheated at SINTX Armor in October 2023. The Company will be replacing the damaged furnace and expects the repaired furnace to be up and running in the 4th quarter 2024. Company management continues to work with third parties to temporarily outsource the sintering process.
